Last month TRIZCON 2008 I presented my paper on Ideality, TRIZ and Software Design a case study.

Once it is described, ideality is defined as function achieved without cost and with no negative impact on the system. TRIZCON 2008 - Going On

I am at Kent State University, Ohio, attending the 10th International TRIZ Conference TRIZCON 2008.

Will like to post my view of proceedings. TRIZ has reached Intel in a big way is one great story that is developing now. Thats a big News for TRIZniks across. But the message by Ameer Roggel of Intel - To Modernize and make it simple for all is the key. To modernize TRIZ we need to look at new sciences - Biology, information and physics. I think thats an important message. In fact a very important message to those who want to stick to old TRIZ ways only.

TRIZCON 2008

The annual TRIZ conference (TRIZCON 2008) in US organized by Altshuller Institute is slated to be held during April 2008.

I attended last year's TRIZCON 2007

It was an interesting collection of TRIZNiks and the TRIZ enthusiasts. There seems to be perception that TRIZ methodology is very complex - and requires different type of mindset. Well, if one do not want to pursue something (beacuse of reasons of its origin, marketing etc) - no one can do anything anyway.

Similarly, there are multiple types of people who claim different proficiency levels in following the classic TRIZ versus the new ways etc - then they get into this way or the so called his master's voice etc - well for all people - my suggestion is to experiment before commenting - if it works or whetever element works, please use it, imbibe it, explore it and develop it.
